Jim Walker

Non-Executive Chair

Mr Jim Walker has been the Chair of Austin Engineering Ltd since July 2016. Jim has over 45 years of experience in the resources sector. He is currently Non-Executive Chairman of MLG Oz Ltd, Chairman of the Western Australia State Training Board, Non-Executive Chairman of the Mader Group and Deputy Chairman RAC Holdings (WA). Jim was formerly Non-Executive Chairman of Australian Potash, Non-Executive Chairman of Macmahon Holdings Limited, Non-Executive Director of Programmed Maintenance Services Limited and Chief Executive Officer of WesTrac Pty Limited.

Jim is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD) and AIM Western Australia. Jim’s focus on apprentices and training was recognised when he was awarded the GJ Stokes Memorial Award at Diggers & Dealers in August 2014.

Chris Indermaur

Independent Non-Executive Director

Mr Chris Indermaur has been a Non-Executive Director of Austin Engineering Ltd since July 2016. Chris has over 30 years of experience in large Australian companies in Engineering and Commercial roles. Amongst these roles he was the Engineering and Contracts Manager for the QNI Nickel Refinery at Yabulu, Company Secretary for QAL and General Manager for Strategy and Development at Alinta Ltd.

Chris is also a Director of Austal Limited. He was formerly a Director Centrex Metals Ltd. Chris holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) and a Graduate Diploma of Engineering (Chemical) from the West Australian Institute of Technology (now Curtin University). He also holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Master of Laws from the Queensland University of Technology and a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Australian National University.

SY Van Dyk

Independent Non-Executive Director

Mr Sy van Dyk has been a Non-Executive Director of Austin Engineering Ltd since March 2018. Sy brings over 30 years of experience primarily within the resources sector. Sy is currently the Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of DDH1 Drilling Ltd.  He has held the role of CEO and, prior to that, CFO of contract mining company Macmahon Holdings Ltd. Sy has also held a number of senior operational roles, including Chief Operating Officer Western Australia and Chief Financial Officer of mining equipment distributor WesTrac Group. Prior to WesTrac Group, Sy’s career spanned a number of senior positions within Kimberly-Clark, South Africa.

Sy holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) from the University of South Africa and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia.

Linda O’Farrell

Independent Non-Executive Director

Linda O’Farrell has been a Non-Executive Director of Austin Engineering Ltd since September 2022. Linda is a senior executive with extensive experience in the global resources sector. Linda has shaped people and culture strategy for leading companies including Newcrest, BHP, Mount Gibson Iron and since 2013 has led the People and People Operations teams for Fortescue Metals Group (FMG), during a period of rapid growth both in the metals and energy business. Linda holds a Bachelor of Economics (Honours in Industrial Relations) from the University of Western Australia and is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and Chief Executive Women.

Linda has contributed to a number of Not for Profit organisations in addition to her executive roles and joined the Board of the Australian Institute of Management WA in 2018, where she also chairs their Advisory Council, and is a Vice President of the Australian Resources and Energy Employers Association, having joined the board in 2018. Linda is also on the Board of Lifeline Australia. Linda holds a Bachelor of Economics (Honours in Industrial Relations) from the University of Western Australia.

David Singleton

CEO and Managing Director

Mr David Singleton has been a Non-Executive Director of Austin Engineering Ltd since April 2019 and was appointed CEO on 14 July 2021. David was recently the Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Austal Limited. Prior to this, David was Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of mineral explorer, Poseidon Nickel and engineering and project services contractor of , Clough Limited. He has vast international business experience gained in senior executive roles in Europe and the USA. He was the Group Head of Strategy, Mergers and Acquisitions for BAE Systems based in London and spent three years as CEO of Alenia Marconi Systems, based in Italy. David has served as a member of the National Defence Industries Council in the United Kingdom, and as a board member and Vice-President (Defence) of Intellect, a leading trade association for the UK technology industry.

David has an Honours degree in Mechanical Engineering from University College London and is an Honorary Doctor of Engineering, Edith Cowan University.

David Bonomini

Chief Financial Officer

Mr David Bonomini, was appointed as Chief Financial Officer in November 2022. Mr Bonomini is a respected executive with global experience leading governance, regulatory and commercial initiatives in high growth companies. He has a proven track record of improving business performance, leading change, developing high-performing teams and increasing shareholder value. David has a collaborative style and is committed to customer service, business excellence, staff engagement, and development. In previous CFO roles at Orbital UAV, Compass Group and KB Food, Mr Bonomini was responsible for commercial, financial, tax, IS&T and merger & acquisition activities. David is a qualified CPA and holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree.

Vincent d’rozario

Chief Operating Officer

Mr Vincent D’Rozario was appointed as Chief Operating Officer in January 2023. An executive leader adept at business transformation and growth, Vincent has forged his career in the highly competitive business sectors of major project delivery, commercial aviation and environmental/waste management solutions. He has a strong track record in purpose led transformation bringing businesses to their desired market position. Vincent is driven by challenge and thrives on leading organizational change and strategic organic and inorganic growth. After a career spanning over 27 years in global roles with Aker Solutions, Global Process Systems and Jacobs, Vincent moved to the commercial aviation sector where he held the role of Regional Managing Director for CHC Helicopters APAC for 6 years prior to joining Austin. Vincent provides a strong focus on improving and growing both the top and bottom lines leading to increased shareholder/owner value. In addition to his COO role at Austin Engineering, Vincent holds a Non-Executive Director role on the Board of The Environmental Group Limited (ASX:EGL). A strong safety advocate, Vincent is an accomplished cognitive behavioural practitioner which he applies to both safety also to business leadership. His hands-on approach to ensuring that all levels of the organisation understand that safety is their choice has ensured a fatality and major incident free record for businesses under his stewardship. Vincent has a degree in Electrical Engineering from Victoria University of Technology and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Katina Nadebaum

Company Secretary

Ms Katina Nadebaum joined the Company in April 2021 as Company Secretary. She is a Chartered Accountant and Company Secretary, with 20 years’ experience in company secretarial roles. Katina has held the position of Company Secretary with various ASX-listed companies, including Programmed Maintenance Services Limited and Macmahon Holdings Limited. She has also worked as a Chartered Accountant in public practice where she provided corporate and company secretarial advice.
